Ivone Machado, born in Luanda in 1971, is a Portuguese visual artist based in Lisbon, exploring various forms of creative expression. From an early age, she developed a deep love for creativity, winning 1st place in a drawing competition at the age of 8. She grew up in an artistic family environment, which led her to pursue a degree in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts in Lisbon. In 1996, she was awarded an Erasmus scholarship to study at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts (KASK) in Ghent, Belgium, an experience that broadened her artistic vision.

With more than two decades of experience in advertising and design, Ivone has distinguished herself through her innovative and disruptive approach to visual storytelling. Since 2000, she has been an entrepreneur and creative director, and in 2014, she founded the studio US – United Skills in Creativity, where she developed creative concepts, managed multidisciplinary teams, and oversaw project management, production, and implementation of various cultural and thematic exhibitions, collaborating with renowned brands, cultural institutions, and museums.

In 2008, she returned to painting, and in 2021 rediscovered her passion for oil and watercolour painting, fully dedicating herself to the visual arts. Besides painting, Ivone explores photography. Her work reflects her experience in design and art direction, combining a conceptual approach with technical precision. A technology and Artificial Intelligence enthusiast, Ivone has integrated these fields into various projects, creating immersive and innovative experiences that push the boundaries of visual storytelling.
